ABOUT ME
Sylvia is living her own happily ever after in Brisbane, Australia, with her husband, two sons, and a scruffy dog. While an avid reader across all genres, discovering her nana’s Mills & Boons kickstarted her love affair with all things romance. She has travelled around 24 countries (and counting) and loves creating lush international settings for your new book boyfriends and the women who bring them to their knees.
Sylvia’s love of fiction started at a very young age, as she dived into a world of smugglers’ caves, adventure and mystery in Enid Blyton’s The Famous Five, Secret Seven and The Faraway Tree series of books. She read everything and anything, from her father’s old science fiction novels from the 1950s through to her nana’s Mills & Boon romances. Then she devoured fantasy, romantasy, hard sci-fi and romance, romance, and more romance.
Sylvia grew up in a house with over 3000 books in the library and with parents who are passionate about literature and the power of words. She wrote her first book at age 6 (Kristina the Kristmas decoration) and made sure it was illustrated, bound correctly and had an imprint page, complete with a make-believe ISBN. (It was a bestseller within her family!)
